Affirmative sentence

The most common order of a single sentence in French is: subject + verb + object. The subject is then at the beginning of the sentence, the verb comes second.

Before the verb can be placed:

• short forms of personal pronouns: direct and indirect objects: me, te, le, la, lui, nous , vous, les, leur, se
