Imperativo

This mood expresses commands: parla – speak, parli – speak, let him speak, parlate – speak.

Formation:

Conjugation I (trovare):

singularplural
1---troviamo

Conjugation II (credere):

Conjugation III:

group I: verbs which don't add –isc- (sentire):

singularplural
1---sentiamo
2sentisentite
3sentasentano

group II: verbs which add –isc- (finire):

singularplural
1---finiamo
2finiscifinite
3finiscafiniscano

The above inflection is for regular verbs. . .

Instead of the imperative form of the 2nd person, the infinitive is used in the case of the negation:

parla - speak; non parlare - don't speak.
