Usually the feminine form is created by replacing the ending –o with –a:

alto - alta

buono - buona

cattivo - cattiva

Adjectives ending in –e, -a, -i and other endings in masculine gender do not change in feminine:

felice – felice

entusiasta – entusiasta.
