Most common Polish words - part 6

Let's continue with most common Polish words. There are many words that are similar in Polish and in English. Some of them are false friends, and the similarity is casual. But most of them mean the same or almost the same. The reason is not only that Polish borrowed from English. The main reason is that both languages borrowed from Latin, French, ancient Greek. Many loanwords are rare words, but some of them (like problem, informacja, program) belong to most frequent ones.
There is one positive thing : languages seldom borrow the most fundamental words, so the higher you advance in learning, the more words you will recognize.
Important : not always all meanings are the same ! But it's important to recognize these words.
